How Route works

Route is a pump.fun launchpad where a coin's creator fees go to the people who bought it in an app, not to the launcher. You pick the app when you launch: pump.fun or FOMO.

Where every fee goes

80% to app buyersPaid in SOL, pro rata, every 2 minutes.
20% buys and burns $ROUTEBought on the market and burned in the same transaction.
0% to the launcherFixed in the program for every coin. Nobody can change it.

From launch to payout

  1. 1

    Launch on a line

Your coin goes live on pump.fun. You pick the pump.fun app line or the FOMO line, and the coin's creator fees are pointed at that line's on-chain vault instead of a wallet.

  2. 2

    People buy

Anyone can buy anywhere, like any pump.fun coin. Only buys made in the line's app are tagged, and only those tokens earn a share.

  3. 3

Fees build up in the vault

Every trade pays pump.fun's creator fee, on the curve and after graduation to PumpSwap. Route collects it into the vault, which has no withdraw.

  4. 4

80% is paid to app buyers

Every 2 minutes the 80% is split pro rata across what app buyers still hold and sent straight to their wallets in SOL. No claiming.

  5. 5

    20% buys and burns $ROUTE

The other 20% buys $ROUTE on the open market, and every token bought is burned in the same transaction.

How a buy is matched to its app

There's no "which app" field on chain, but both apps leave a mark on every transaction they send. Route reads each buy of a coin and checks for its line's mark.

What earns

Counts

  • Buys made in the coin's app, on the curve or after graduation
  • Up to the amount you still hold
  • Any ordinary wallet, including FOMO wallets that hold no SOL

Doesn't count

  • Buys from other apps, bots, terminals or the pump.fun website
  • Tokens sent to you from another wallet
  • The launcher's dev buy
  • Pools, programs and other non-wallet accounts

What the program guarantees

No withdrawA coin's vault has no instruction that sends SOL anywhere except the two below.
PayoutsOnly to plain wallets, never more than the vault holds, and never past a round's fixed pot.
$ROUTE buysCan spend the 20% share and nothing else. Everything bought is burned in the same transaction.
$ROUTE addressSet once, then locked. It can't be swapped for another token.
What you trust Route forDeciding who's in each round. The rule only uses public chain data, so anyone can re-check a round.

Questions

Do I need to claim anything?

No. Payouts are sent to your wallet automatically every 2 minutes.

I bought on the pump.fun website. Does that count?

No. The website sends plain pump.fun instructions that look the same as a bot's. Only the pump.fun mobile app leaves a mark Route can verify.

What if I sell some?

Your share drops to what you still hold, and it doesn't come back if you buy again somewhere else. Buy again in the app to earn on it.

What if I move tokens to another wallet?

The sending wallet's share drops. The receiving wallet earns nothing on them, because it didn't buy them in the app.

Does the creator's dev buy earn?

No. It's bought in the launch transaction, not in the app. The launcher takes no cut of fees either.

Why didn't I get paid this round?

Very small shares are held until they pass the minimum payout. Wallets with no SOL at all also need enough to cover the rent minimum first. Nothing is lost, it carries to the next round.

Can a coin switch lines?

No. The line is fixed on chain when the coin launches.

Launch on a line

Takes a minute. No wallet connect: you send SOL to a deposit address and Route does the rest.
